A simple, fresh and zesty salad full of flavour and ready in less than 5 minutes. This 4 Ingredient Italian Fennel and Orange Salad is a light and satisfying side dish, a super quick snack, or a healthy lunch.
Hey guys, hope you’re having an awesome week so far. Despite the horrible rainy weather we’re still having in Adelaide (enough already, weather-man) ours has been going great.
Yesterday we tried our hands at screen printing our very own hand-cut designs on tea towels at Gallery 1855 (if you haven’t seen them already you can check them out on our Instagram page).
And today we’ve been having a ball, cooking up brand new recipes left, right and centre, and we’re super keen to share everything with you over the next few weeks.
In the meantime though, we’ve got a quick question for you:
Mini Breakfast Quiches are about to make your day. Baked to crispy golden perfection yet gorgeously soft and fluffy on the inside, these quick and easy mini quiches are packed with healthy veggies and crispy bacon for a super satisfying breakfast.
Oh, breakfast. How we love you.
You’re always full of such delicious opportunity, whether we feel like something sweet and scrambled… packed with spicy flavour… satisfyingly fruity… or just plain fun.
How anyone could skip this most glorious meal of the day is beyond me.
French Zucchini Salad (Salade de Courgettes) is a light, fresh and summery salad that makes for the perfect side dish. Ribbons of zucchini meet with fresh mint, garlic and natural yoghurt in this super simple 5 minute recipe.
Do you ever come across those recipes that just make you feel good?
Those that bring back memories of good times?
Of breathing in fresh country air, enjoying the warmth of the setting sun, of indulging in good food and good wine with new friends?
That is just what this quick and simple salad does for us.
Ditch the jars and get ready to whip up a batch of your very own Fresh Tomato Pasta Sauce From Scratch. It’s way easier than you might think, and WAY TASTIER too thanks to ripe red tomatoes and a hit of fresh basil. Serve over pasta as-is, or use as a base for other sauces, toppings or even slathered over your next homemade pizza.
Sarah’s birthday is coming up this week! Cue the cheesy grins. 😀 😀 😀
Since one day is never enough for a decent birthday (in my humble opinion 😛 ), our friends and I planned a few birthday surprises to kick things off a few days early.
And why not? Birthdays only come around once a year right?
For the freshest, tastiest guacamole you can’t get better than homemade. Featuring lime, fish sauce and chilli for an unbeatable flavour hit, this Spicy Asian Inspired Guacamole Dip is set to spice up your life in the best way possible.
So over the last few weekends our housemate has taken us down to some nearby fresh produce markets (for you Adelaidians, we’re talking about the Torrens Island Markets. 😉 )
We couldn’t believe the fresh produce available, from farm fresh veggies to free range eggs, organic spices, fresh baked breads and everything in between.
And, best bit, it’s literally a five minute drive from home.
How in the world did we not realise how good this is? Everything is so much cheaper and fresher than what’s been available in the supermarkets lately.
