Quick & Easy



You'll need:

For the meringue: - egg whites - caster sugar - cornstarch - vinegar - vanilla essence

For the whipped cream: - thickened cream / heavy cream - caster sugar - vanilla essence

For the traditional toppings: - strawberries - kiwifruit - banana - passionfruit pulp - icing sugar to sprinkle

Step 1:

Whip the egg whites until foamy.

Step 2:

Add the sugar and continue whipping until glossy.

Step 3:

Add the vinegar and vanilla essence and gently mix through.

Step 4:

Scoop onto baking tray and smooth out.  Bake for 1-1.5 hours.

Step 5:

Whip the cream with sugar and vanilla essence until thick.

Step 6:

Top cooled pavlova with whipped cream, sliced fruit, and icing sugar.

Pavlova is ready!

Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
