The perfect garnish for a range of dishes. Try it next time you'd reach for your salt shaker!
Easy Salt Sprinkle
You will need
Toast the sesame seeds
to bring out their flavour and crunch.
Add salt and continue
toasting for a minute.
Use as is OR add water to dissolve the salt and help it bind to the sesame seeds.
The seeds will dry out
and become a dusky grey colour - done!
You can grind them in a mortar & pestle or suribachi bowl.
