Japanese Octopus Balls

You'll need:

For the batter:  - dashi powder - plain flour - cornflour - milk - egg - octopus pieces - spring onion - pickled ginger - tempura crumbs

For the toppings:  - takoyaki sauce - kewpie ayonnaise - seaweed flakes (aonori) - bonito flakes (katsuoboshi)

Step 1:

Pour batter into well-oiled takoyaki pan.

Step 2:

Add octopus, spring onion, pickled ginger and tempura crumbs. Flip into balls.

Step 3:

Top with takoyaki sauce, kewpie mayo, seaweed flakes and bonito flakes.
