This simple sauce packs huge flavour! The best part? It’s small batch, vegan and gluten free.

Sweet + Tangy + Savouy

You will need

– apple cider vinegar – plum jam – golden syrup  – lemon juice – garlic – ginger  – cardamom  – allspice – salt – black pepper – onion powder – ground cloves – ground nutmeg

Add all ingredients to pot, boil and simmer until sauce thickens.

Bottle in clean, airtight jar and store in fridge.  For best flavour, wait  two weeks before using.

Add to Japanese sauces: Yakisoba, Takoyaki, or Okonomiyaki!

Drizzle over winter soups like pea & ham or pumpkin & corn.
