One of the most iconic Australian recipes, yet so easy to get wrong. Learn the RIGHT way to eat vegemite on toast! You’ll only need 3 ingredients and 5 minutes. Let’s do it!
Using a butter knife, spread approx ½ tsp of Vegemite (for beginners, more if you’re a veteran Vegemite lover), and lightly scrape over the toast.
Take a bite. Love it? Enjoy! If the flavour isn’t enough, add a little more until you reach the desired level that works for you.

Be Quick - Once you spread the butter on, it can soften your toast. So it's best to be quick and get the Vegemite on so you don't end up ripping the toast apart.
Vegemite Fairy Bread - We haven't been game enough to try this, but apparently Vegemite fairy bread is a thing!
Skip the Butter - Slather a layer of cream cheese and then add your Vegemite for an extra decadent combo.
