Spicy Asian Inspired Guacamole Dip

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 small tomato diced
  • ½ red chilli deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic finely chopped
  • 1 spring onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt and white pepper to taste


  • Slice the avocado in half and remove the seed. Mash the avocado inside skin with a fork (make it as chunky or smooth as you like it). Alternatively, spoon out the inside into a bowl to mash.
  • Add the tomato, chilli, garlic and onion. Drizzle with fish sauce and lime juice. Season with salt and white pepper.
  • Mix until ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips or fresh white bread.
